Jacob is 9 Months!!

So let me start by saying, I am still not so great at consistently posting on here, but again, I hope to improve. First a little catching up by pictures...



 Our Amazing photographer helped up pull off a Father's Day surprise! Isaac loved these pictures, and I love that I am in a few of them as well. It is crazy when I look at all of the pictures that have been taken, and how few that I am in. Guess that's what happens when you are behind the camera!

 And speaking of camera's, I got a new one!!! Isaac knew that I was looking for something a little better than my point and shoot camera, and he came through big time! Although my birthday isn't till next week, I got the camera a few weeks ago so that I could make sure that I liked in and that it worked. I am loving it. The pictures above are just a few of the ones that I have taken recently.

The 4th of July was such a great day! We spent the day at Otto and Glady's house eating way too much yummy food and spending lots of quality time with family. Jacob got to see his first fireworks show since he slept through the ones on New Years. He did pretty well, although the first few that went off did make him jump a bit.

Other things that are going on:

Jacob is a crawling machine! He seems to get from one side of the room to the other in the blink of an eye. He loves solid foods, and is pretty good about eating just about anything, or at least trying it out.

We are headed to Florida next month to see Isaac's cousin Kathy and her two beautiful babies, and to see my dad as well. I love that they live so close to each other, so that we can see them both on the same trip.

I just finished volunteering at VBS last week. I remember that I used to do it every year in high school, and had such a great time, why not do it now? There were over 2,200 kids that attended. It was such an amazing sight to see all these little ones singing worship songs and bringing their offering. I definitely plan on helping out again next year.

Isaac's brother Andres got engaged to a beautiful woman, Lexi. She is Glady's niece, so we have known her for a while. It is so sweet to see them both so happy!

A few weeks ago Isaac gave me a day off and I drove down to Corpus to see my best friend Jessica's new son, Easton. I can't believe that Jacob was ever that small! It was so nice to see her and get some good girl time in. I just wish that we could do it more often!!

My Aunt Michele is coming into town tomorrow, and we are going to see my amazing cousin Chase perform with band he is playing with this summer. I can't wait to see them both, and I know that Jacob is looking forward to some Great Aunt time!

I think that is pretty much it. Need to get off of here and clean up the mess of blocks, trucks, and books that are all over our living room floor!
