Last weekend we headed to Port Aransas for a much needed vacation. Isaac and I have always loved the beach and we were hoping the Jacob would love it just as much. We arrived on Thursday afternoon and settled in. The house we were staying at was beautiful!
One of the best things about this trip was the wonderful people that went on it with us. A great girlfriend and her 2 kiddos(her son is 4, and daughter is about a month older than Jacob), her sister and her family, including 3 fabulous daughters, and her cousin's family including their precious 2 year old little girl. The older girls loved taking care of Jacob and we were more than happy to let them! Isaac had a great time playing around with the kids at the beach since he is still kid a heart himself. We had originally planned to come back on Sunday, but decided to stay the extra night with the others and come back Monday. And we are so glad that we did. It was a great Mother's Day weekend! I didn't even get sunburned(For those of you that don't know, that is a MIRACLE!!)

The only downside about the entire trip was that when we got home Monday afternoon Jacob developed a crazy fever, so we spent that entire afternoon and evening trying to keep him happy and cool. After a trip to the doctor on Tuesday he was given the diagnoses of a sinus infection. Poor Baby! Luckily no one else that was on the trip with us got it.After a few days of antibiotics he is back to his normal happy self!
