I know crazy, right?
Jake has been out of school(MDO) for two and a half weeks, and although I LOVE my little guy, I love my alone time! Jake had been battling a sinus infection and just to make things worse, let's add two more teeth coming in. But we are on day 5 of antibiotics and no fever this morning, so I chanced it and sent him to school.
Normally when I drop him off,he gets so engrossed with all the toys and other kids that he doesn't even notice when I leave. But this morning I followed me to the door and started crying and reaching for me. I felt so bad. I hung around for a few minutes and then peeked my head back in and he was playing like nothing ever happened. I love that he is so content to play,even when he doesn't feel 100%.
I took advantage of the day, got a mani/pedi, had a real breakfast and even got a few loads of laundry done.
It is almost 1, and haven't gotten a phone call yet, so guess the day went ok. Guess I will see what they have to say when I go to pick him up in a few.
