As I mentioned in previous posts we have plans to spend a week in New York and Boston in May. I remember when we first booked the trip I thought that it was so far away and we had plenty of time to plan out everything we wanted to do and see. Now that the trip is just 4 WEEKS away, I am realizing how much we still need to figure out. All of the major things have been booked like the flights, hotel, and train tickets to get from NY to Boston. And we even bought tickets to a Red Sox game for us all to go to on Friday night and then we all are attending my brother-in-laws graduation from Tufts on Sunday. What we haven't figured out...
What are we going to do when we get there???
ProjectsIt seems like every day we have been looking at tile and wood floor samples, getting quotes on materials and installation, and trying to find time for us to be home long enough to have it all done. But somehow we have managed to get at least the tile picked out, and installation started today! When I first moved into this house in August of 2006, all of the bathrooms had carpet in them. I vowed that I wouldn't live a year without changing it out, but almost 5 years later it still hadn't happened, until now!! We also decided that if our house was going to be filled with tile dust and the sound of construction, we might as well replace the ugly linoleum in the kitchen too.

Pregnancy
Well no news is good news on this topic. The Dr. says Baby C's heartbeat is about 160 bpm and sounds healthy and strong. We were hoping to be able to find out the gender of the baby before our big trip so we could let everyone know while celebrating Diego's graduation, but the Dr. said it would be too soon, so we will just have to keep everyone is suspense for a bit longer. I lost another 2 lbs since the last visit, but again, Dr. says not to worry, that I will catch up in no time. The next big item on the baby to-do list is to find a pediatritian. We don't really know where to start, but hoping that friends and family will have some great ideas!
