Twelve Weeks!

We had another checkup on Baby C on Tuesday.  Lost another 4 lbs, down 6 so far since the first appointment. I was a little worried about it, but the doctor said not to worry, that the weight would come soon enough. Although we didn't get another ultrasound, we did get to hear the sweet heartbeat again.  The heartbeat was 170 bpm which the doctor says is strong and healthy. Also he said that we could schedule the gender sonogram at 18 weeks!

I had several huge personal revelations on Thursday.
     1) Several, well really all but one pair. of my pants no longer fit comfortably
     2) Maternity clothes shopping can be very overwhelming
     3) Based on the size of the fake bumps at the maternity store, I will be huge by October!
     4) I am ridiculously thankful for my mom!

---------------------------My First Maternity Clothes Shopping Experience---------------------------------------

We started at Target and found a few cute items, but the selection wasn't great...

Then we went to Destination Maternity, and I was overwhelmed with options!  I was so thankful to have my mom there, and to have a very patient and helpful salesperson.  In the dressing room was a fake belly that you could wear while trying on clothes to see what a 7 month belly really looked and felt like. It was  definitely a eye opening experience. After trying on at least 50 items, we finally left with:
